Sad news about a dear friend
It is with a heavy heart that we let you all know that long time member of the South Dakota Unit, Herb Rohrer passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008. Herb and Shirley, #16458, joined WBCCI in 1984. Herb was president of the South Dakota unit in 1988 and again in 2000. They were both very active in the set up and activities for the 2007 Region 7 Rally held in their home town on Huron, South Dakota. Herb was active in Lions, and was dedicated to the annual Pancake Jamboree.” Herb loved to cook pancakes at our rallies, but had to have a certain brand, Krusteaz. The funeral will be Friday Dec. 12 at the American Lutheran Church on 4th Street in Huron. Please keep Shirley and her family in your thoughts and prayers as we join our families for the holidays and into the coming new year.
